Socionext offers a comprehensive lifecycle engagement model for the development and supply of SoCs, with a strong focus on the following key market segments:
Automotive
Socionext is at the forefront of developing ADAS solutions for electric and autonomous vehicles, using a solution SoC approach that allows architects to integrate ADAS-optimized AI IP with multi-core CPU, GPU, audio/video processing, memory and IO subsystems for sensor data fusion, analysis, and inferencing. Functional Safety (FuSA) development, along with automotive quality and reliability, meets the demands of automotive applications. Socionext is currently using 5nm and 3nm automotive semiconductor processes to develop solutions in collaboration with TSMC.
Data Center
Socionext has more than 40 years of experience delivering high-performance compute devices that integrate multi-core processors and AI accelerators with high-bandwidth memory and communications interfaces. The solution SoC approach allows architects to integrate differentiating IP optimized for target applications, meeting performance requirements cost-effectively and within stringent power constraints. Collaborations with ARM Holdings and TSMC will yield 2nm compute chiplets that, combined with application-specific chiplets, memory hubs, and IO hubs, will deliver optimized solutions in a shorter time and at a lower development cost.
