Socionext Inc., a world leading system-on-chip (SoC) solutions provider, has introduced new, intelligent, scalable edge-AI solutions developed in partnership with Foxconn Technology Group and Network Optix Inc.

Socionext will give two keynotes and showcase Graphics IP, RF technologies at the annual ICCAD, China’s leading IC design industry event.

The ultra-compact, low-power the SC1220 Series 60GHz radio wave sensors can detects individual’s location and movement with very high accuracy and precision. Volume production scheduled in the second quarter of 2020.

The new compact, low-cost Socionext SC1230 Series includes two products that can detect the location and movement of individuals with ultra-high degrees of sensitivity. Both are available now in samples, with volume production scheduled for the first quarter of 2020.

The Socionext M820L-8K is a media accelerator card that enables encoding acceleration of 8K resolution video. The company will demonstrate the solution at IBC 2019, RAI Amsterdam, September 13-17, Hall 5, booth C34.
