Socionext Inc. today announced a lineup of acoustics solutions now available under the “ForteArt” family of software IPs. ForteArt enhances sound-related user experience, with applications including consumer products, public signage and automotive infotainment systems. Solutions inlcude “3D Surround Sound Solution”,“Bass Boost Solution” and the “3D Audio HMI”.

Socionext has developed a prototype implementation of video encoder functionalities of the latest video compression format AV1 onto Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (Amazon EC2) F1 Instance.

Socionext collaborates with Dwango to offer “niconico” multi-user live streaming service. The new system links video data processing servers with Socionext’s Hybrid Codec Module M820L to improves the performance of real-time video data transcoding. Dwango plans to deploy the system within this year.
