viewphii integrated medical IoT solution
The Socionext viewphii solution is a handheld ultrasonic sensing device capable of measuring critical biometric data. The device delivers body composition information using ultra-sound imaging as well as continuous blood pressure and electrocardiograph monitoring.
Weighing in at just 150 grams, viewphii is ideal for home use, clinics, ambulances and medevac helicopters.
Ultraportable electrocardiograph and continuous blood pressure monitor
Another medical IoT solution featured in the Great Gear episode is our ultraportable electrocardiograph for monitoring heart rate and blood pressure. The device is fit on the torso, not attached at the ankle or wrist like traditional models, and can be worn and operated continuously (24/7).
The Socionext continuous blood pressure monitor is worn on a finger and monitors patient blood pressure in real time. The device is suitable for use in surgery, intensive care units, and during dialysis treatments.
8K endoscope imaging system
Also on display at MEDTEC 2017 was our 8K endoscope imaging system. Socionext's proprietary codecs allow for high-resolution and high-speed image transmission for remote surgery and other telemedical applications where optimal video quality is essential.
