Varjo and Socionext collaborate on world’s first human-eye Resolution VR/XR headset using video-see-through (VST) technology powered by Socionext image signal processors.

Aurora Flight Sciences is collaborating with Socionext to provide a radar-enabled collision protection system for consumer drones. The Radar Flight Control Module (RFCM) is comprised of a single-chip 24GHz radar with range measurement software. The radar responds acutely to its surroundings and can detect multiple objects, objects in open spaces, target distance and speed, and more.

Socionext today announced a new graphics controller “SC1701” series, the third generation of its high-performance graphics display controllers with 4K resolution and HDR deep color processing for state-of-the art in-vehicle display systems. The SC1701 will be showcased at the Embedded World Conference from Feb. 27 – Mar. 1, 2018 to be held in Nuremberg Germany, Hall A3, Booth 119.
