Presenting a wide range of latest medical solutions including mobile devices and imaging / security technologies
YOKOHAMA, April 6, 2017 –Socionext Inc, a leading provider of SoC-based solutions, will be exhibiting at Medtec Japan 2017, the largest medical equipment design and manufacturing show in Asia, at the Tokyo Big Sight April 19 -21. The company will showcase its latest solutions for medical applications, including the mobile medical solution "viewphii" series, at booth #4505 and 4507.
Socionext leverages its years of SoC design and engineering expertise to develop its next-generation "viewphii" series of medical solutions for enabling a wide range of non-invasive body monitoring capabilities utilizing ultra-compact, light-weight and cable-less terminals. At this year's Medtec, Socionext will introduce two updated versions of its solutions in addition to existing features (ultrasound, continuous blood pressure monitoring and electrocardiogram). The new solution includes ultrasound with upgraded image quality comparable to a stationary machine, and continuous blood pressure monitoring with significantly improved usability. Furthermore, the company will showcase new applications highlighting vascular monitoring and autonomic nerve examination.
At Medtec, Socionext will demonstrate and propose new solutions in image processing, data transmission, and display technologies for which the company has extensive, successful delivery record. The demonstrations include 8K quality medical image display, and Intra-hospital security solutions using face detection technology. Lastly, Socionext will present its latest achievement on AI-based medical solution, a joint project with SOINN Corporation.
