The PH1-sLD8 system LSI (MN2WS0270 series) is based on the ARM® Cortex™-A9 CPU, which can be found in affordable smart devices using our proprietary fast parallel media processor (IPP3) and new distributed processing software architecture. This low-power, space-saving device produces high-quality images and streamlines systems used in TV broadcasting, in-vehicle equipment, various online AV content and cloud-computing services.
- This product is based on our proprietary software architecture, which has been optimized to enable affordable smart devices to achieve a performance comparable to that of high-end smart devices in terms of parallel and simultaneous processing of AV content over the Internet and the application.
- This product integrates the functions required for smart devices into a single chip, reducing power consumption by about 30%, and using only about half the number of parts when compared to the previous Socionext product (MN2WS0220). This enables development of smaller, thinner, and lower-power smart devices.
- This product can apply optimal compensation to video images distributed over the network or by other means according to the transmission rate, enabling high-quality video to be always displayed without disrupting the viewer's experience.
